Details for MASON COUNTY RECYCLING CENTER - Ad from 2018-03-08

City of Maysville

The City of Maysville would like to encourage our residents to participate in the
recycling program. The program was implemented in November 2015; however,
participation has not reached our expectations in the past year. In order to continue this valuable program we urge you to participate.
• The City of Maysville Public Works Department provides curb-side residential
recycle pick-up on trash day.
• Recycle material includes: All paper/cardboard, aluminum cans, glass, and
#1 and #2 plastics. Please look for these symbols on the plastic:
• All material should be placed in a bin and set out on your scheduled trash day
• A limited number of residential recycling bins (one per household) are available
at the City Public Works building located on Martha Comer Drive (behind the
college). Please call 759-0419 to arrange a pickup.
• Styrofoam and plastic bags are NOT permitted to be recycled
• Food scraps and wood are NOT permitted
• COUNTY RESIDENTS: There are several drop off locations scattered throughout
Mason County where recycle material can be taken.

Please contact the Recycling Center for more information 759-5459
