Pollitt, Frye exchange vows

Marsha K. Pollitt of Ripley, Ohio and Wilbur G. Frye of Vanceburg, were married Oct. 25, 2007, at the home of Marsha's parents, Charlie E. Pollitt Sr. and Beverelee J. Pollitt, in Ripley. They were married by Judge and Mayor of Ripley, Tom Leonard.

Wilbur is the son of Linda L. Leming of Vanceburg and the late Wilbur Lee Frye.

The lovely bride was given in marriage by her parents, Charlie and Beverelee Pollitt.

Serving as maid of honor was Billie J. Kirk, sister of the bride, of Russellville, Ohio and serving as the bridesmaid was Elizabeth Coffey of Dover. Krysta L. Pollitt, daughter of the bride, of Ripley, was the flower girl.

Tony Kirk, brother-in-law of the bride, of Russellville, was the best man and John Kirschner, nephew of the bride, of Russellville served as the groomsman. Jacob T. Bell, son of the bride, of Ripley served as the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the home of the bride following the service.

The bride is a graduate of Ripley High School and is a homemaker.

Wilbur is a graduate of Lewis County High School and is a craftsman for Enerfab.


The couple honeymooned in Niagara Fall, N.Y. and is now residing in Vanceburg.
