" Kidding Right?,
he who is without sin cast the first stone. a sinner calling others sinners. imagine that.
Some people,
youre telling me someone driving exsessively over the speed limit in a 2 ton piece of metal isnt dangerous? lol! i think YOURE the one on drugs!
sorry, id rather someone give a ticket to a speeder than stop someone from using drugs in their house. i believe in a right to privacy, so long as noone besides the user is harmed. the person in the car could kill me( dont get me wrong, nobody should drive impaired no matter the substance used) but the person on the couch can not. " Listen to some of you people you want the police to do their job but you don't want to give information to help and you want them to leave the speeders alone and all that stupid stuff but did any of you so called citizens (I call you cry babies because you got a ticket)think about this stopping speeder sometimes leads to getting better things like DUI,drugs and serving warrants on the scub bags you try to protect so just sit back, shut up, help when you can and watch the police and let them do their job and then you'll see a difference in this fine city we call home. " What kind of reward should you get for helping out the police who is trying to help the citizens??? Are you serious? If you had information that would be helpful to the police who is trying to help protect our children and our communities why wouldn't you feel that it's nessecary to open your mouth and speak up about it? Yes, $500 sounds good but honestly knowing that I could help to prevent criminal acts in my own neighborhood that could have endangered someone and resulted in a bad situation would make me feel even better. Why should u be rewarded?!?!? The police should be.. not you... are you out chasing these criminals? Why is everyone always so money hungry? "

" What about all the bars in Maysville, the festivals downtown with open drinking in public? The MPD is most usually among them...sometimes in uniform. They obviously know these people are intoxicated but they are some of Maysville's 'upper class' so, of course, no charges. These guys have broken the law but they're surely not the only ones. "
Some people wrote on Nov 29, 2007 5:18 PM:
" No, for your information, leave the speeders alone, they need to go the speed limit, but drugs are dangerous, and at least one Maysville citizen wants them out. I don't think people really understand all of that, why don't you do some research. These people are criminals. When someones speeds, they usually are still able to control their car. However, when someone is drunk or high, they are not able to control anything, because they are impaired. NEWFlash: I think that is what the cops should be doing, instead of wasting my tax dollars on gas, to drive up and down the road. Please from now on use, common sense. "

" Wasted Time? I can't believe you're pretty much telling the PD to give up on the drugs! Then what would the world come to? Sure, let the sinners get away with whatever they want! You're crazy!! Yes, the speeding is an issue, but I can't believe you're saying drugs aren't! I'll say an extra prayer for you tonight.....Let's bust those doing drugs... "

the war on drugs is a failure, when will anybody ever learn ? "

" If the police would list these wanted persons (not just these but others as well) they may solve alot of crimes.
This should be done weekly.
I am sure the public would respond.
I also feel the internet court news should be listed the same day when court is done. This would keep alot of folks informed. "
