Universal Studios announced Thursday evening due to overwhelming demand, a second screening has been added to the March 24, 2008, Maysville premiere of "Leatherheads," the new quick-witted romantic comedy from director George Clooney, starring Clooney, Renée Zellweger and John Krasinski.
One hundred lucky winners will receive a pair of passes to attend the evening's second screening of the film. Ms. Zellweger and Mr. Clooney are scheduled to appear at the premiere.
Between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. EDT, Monday, March 24, lottery tickets will be distributed from a tent at the intersection of Second Street and Sutton Street in Maysville. Celebrity arrivals begin at 7 p.m. at the Washington Opera House at 116 West Second Street, and the first screening begins at 8:00 p.m. At 8:30 p.m., 100 names will be drawn at random in front of the Opera House. The winners will then receive a pair of passes for the 10:30 p.m. showing of "Leatherheads."
Please do not call the Washington Opera House for advance lottery tickets; entry into the lottery must be done in person on Monday, March 24.
