MR. APPLEGATE

He was born Jan. 8, 1976, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Rose McClone Applegate of Vanceburg and the late Aubrey Applegate Jr.
He is survived by a companion and friend, Amber Jett of Vanceburg.
Jason was a automotive factory worker and a graduate of Lewis County High School Class of 1994.
He is survived by a son, Devin Applegate of Minford, Ohio; a daughter, Helena Nicole Applegate of Minford; one brother, Timothy Miles Applegate of Georgetown, Ohio; one sister, Tammy Walters and husband, Todd of Hammersville, Ohio; and maternal grandmother, Hilda McClone of Vanceburg.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ervin McGlone; and paternal grandparents, Aubry and Beulah Applegate.
Services are 1 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Dickerson Funeral Home. The Rev. Russell Bud Burnett and the Rev. Mark Blankenship will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Riley Cemetery at Head of Trace Fork.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m., Sunday and 8 a.m. -1 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
