MRS. BURTON

She was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Bracken County to the late Luch Hargett and Stella Mofford Hargett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burton who died in 1975.
She was a homemaker, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Augusta Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Boling and Pat Brigg,s both of Augusta; a brother, Donald Hargett of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters; and one granddaughter, Jeana Boling who died in 1989.
Services are 1 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Augusta Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Denver Prater officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Bracken County.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home.
