WEST UNION, Ohio -- Jerry W. Lewis, 64, of West Union, formerly of Maysville and Aberdeen died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
He was born March 11, 1944, in Maysville. His mother, Lillian Alice (Berry) Lewis; two daughters, Susan and Laura Lewis; and a brother, Donald Lewis, preceded him in death.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sue (Seaman) Lewis; one son, Robert Lewis (Erin); and a daughter, Suzanne Cooley (Shawn), all of West Union; his father, Curtis Lewis of Flemingsburg; two brothers, Curtis Lewis Jr. (Patsy) of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Steve Lewis (Cindy) of Maysville; three sisters, Peggy Thomas (Charles) of Maysville, Glenda "Micky" Story (Anthony) of Flemingsburg, and Patricia Mitchell (Randy) of Houston, Texas; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Kristin Cooley; two step-grandsons, Dustin and Justin Cooley; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jerry was a 28-year employee of Imperial Adhesive and Chemical Company of Cincinnati. He attended Bible Baptist Church in West Union.

Services are 11 a.m., today, Oct. 9, 2008, at Bible Baptist Church in Liberty Township, Adams County. Rev. Tim Carter and Dr. Curtis Lewis Jr. will officiate.
Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.
Visitation was 5 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union and 10-11 a.m., today at the church.
