BROWN COUNTY —Brown County officials are investigating the weekend deaths of two women.

The victims have been identified as Brenda Housh and Stacy Flora, and police are handling the cases as separate homicides, officials said.

The body of Housh was found dead in her home in the 6700 block of Stephan Road outside Sardinia about 1 p.m., Sunday.

Police are looking for her grandson, Adam Sweet, who may be driving a four-door blue 2008 Toyota Corolla.

In what police are calling an unrelated homicide, Flora was found dead at her home in the 1000 block of Shinkle Ridge Road, north of Higginsport, about 9 p.m., Sunday, said Jill DelGreco, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations spokesperson.

On Monday afternoon a person of interest was taken into custody in Clermont County and was being questioned about the case, said DelGreco.

“The victim's car was recovered at East Fork Lake State Park in Clermont County,” DelGreco said.

Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was asked to assist in the investigation by Brown County authorities, she said.

The cases are still under investigation, DelGreco said.
