Nov. 7 is Election Day. Adams County and Brown County residents will be voting in several elections, including some key elections  in the Ohio River Valley.

In Aberdeen, voters will go tot the polls to fill village council seats. Candidates for the four available seats include Tom Birt, David Wireman and incumbent Shari Lang-Stafford.

Voters in the RULH School District will be selecting three members to the Board of Education. Candidates in this race include Daniel L. Oberschlake, John T. Schwierling and incumbents Jeffery A. White and Glenda Huff.

Brown County will also be voting for Municipal Court Judge. They will be choosing from Michele L. Harris, Jessica A. Little and incumbent Joe Worley.

In Adams County, Manchester will be voting for four village council seats. They will choose between Troy A. Jolly, Irene Shively, Evan Sutton and incumbents Teresa D. Blythe, Brian S. Napier and Michael F. Phipps.

Manchester Local School District will be electing three members to their Board of Education. Voters will be chosen between Greg Penny, Joshua K. Reaves, Kathleen F. Stacy, Troy D. Thatcher. Dana Thornburg and Richard K. Foster.

All Ohioans will also vote on two ballot issues:

Issue One is a proposed constitutional amendment to expand the rights of victims under the current Section 10a and require that the rights of victims be protected as vigorously as the rights of the accused.

Issue Two is a proposed law to require state agencies to not pay more for prescription drugs than the federal Department of Veterans Affairs and require state payment of attorney fees and expenses to specific individuals for defense of the law.

Polls will open Nov. 7 at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

Mount Orab – Mount Orab First Baptist Church
