MAYSVILLE -- Elmo Ennis "Mosey" Wood, 83, of Clark Street, Maysville died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood.

Mr. Wood was retired from farming.

He was born in Mason County on Jan. 13, 1927, the son of the late Ollie Ennis and Alberta Ormes Wood.

He is survived by his stepsons, Joe King Jr., James E. Morgan and James W. Morgan, all of Maysville; one brother, Eugene Wood of Clermont County, Ohio; one sister, Elizabeth O'Cull of Mason County; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a special friend, Ellen King; and one brother, Donald Wood.

Services for Mosey Wood will be at Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, with Rev. Robert Staggs officiating.

Burial will be in Charleston Bottoms Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
