MOUNT OLIVET — James Thomas "Boodoo" Linville, 46, Central Ridge Road, Mount Olivet died Monday, July 27, 2009, at his residence.

He was born in Mason County, March 31, 1963, to the late Woodrow Wilson and Geraldine Mae Phillips Linville. He was a member of the Maysville Community Lighthouse Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Wayne Linville.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Stella Curtis Linville; a son, J.J. (Ashley) Linville of Mount Olivet; two brothers, Clarence Edward (Peggy) Linville of Mount Olivet and George "Bear" Linville of Sardis; a sister, Vickie "Pee Wee" (Clayton) Cooper of Mount Olivet; and two grandchildren, Kaitlynn Nicole Linville and Jazie Mae Linville.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Pastor John Ray Dotson.

Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lee Andrew Gifford, Leslie David Gifford, Casey Mitchell, Arthur Ellis, Billy Curtis and Jacob Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Linville, John Wayne Henson, Clayton Insko, Chris Cooper, Rusty Staggs and Charlie Fifthen.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday.
