MOUNT OLIVET -- Edwin Thomas 'Ted' Hunter, age 87, of Mount Olivet, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris.

Born in Robertson County, March 12, 1930, to the late Edwin Pierce and Elsie Lee Fryman Hunter, he was a heavy machine construction operator and a farmer.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Hitt; a daughter, Tammy Jean Hunter; two brothers, Frank Hunter and William Ray Hunter; a sister, Mollie Mae Bacot; and a great-grandson, Roger Willoughby.

He is survived by two sons, Larry T. (Virgie) Hunter and Randy (Paula) Hunter; three daughters, Connie Sue Hunter, Diana Hunter Porter and Peggy Ann Earlywine; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Jim Caswell.

Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery.
