MAY'S LICK -- William Grant Ramsey, 83, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2017, at the Ohio Valley Manor.
Mr. Ramsey was born in Mason County on May 30, 1934, son of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Foley Ramsey. He was a carpenter and worked at DP&L and First Christian Church. He was a senior Deacon at Second Baptist in May's Lick and an U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Burns Ramsey; a son, David W. Ramsey; three step-sons, William Perry, Charles S. (Angela) Perry and Robert S. (Cydonia) Perry; two sisters, Mary (Anthony) French and Henrietta (Beryl) Williams.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Mary Katherine Jones Ramsey and Minnie Wilkins Ramsey; a sister, Virginia Scott; and a step-son, David Burns.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick with Rev. L. Rodney Bennett officiating.
Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by Simon Kenton Post # 2734 VFW.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
