FLEMINGSBURG -- Several people were recently indicted by a Fleming County grand jury.
John Harvey King, 60, was indicted on one count second-degree sodomy and two counts first-degree sexual abuse.
According to the indictment, between Jan. 9 and July 21, King allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 14.
Count one can carry a sentence of five to 10 years in prison and count two can carry a sentence of one to five years in prison if convicted.
William King, 25, was indicted on one count first-degree burglary, one count theft by unlawful taking less than $500 and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
In a related indictment, Cody Wayne Bretz, was indicted on one count first-degree burglary and one count theft by unlawful taking under $500.
According to the indictments, King and Bretz allegedly entered a house on Hilltop Road with the purpose of committing a crime, while armed with a firearm.
Others indicted include:
-- Anthony Lance Selby, 30, on one count first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, one count possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- Austin J. Watkins, 18, on one count improper display of registration plates, two counts first-degree wanton endangerment, one count first-degree fleeing or evading police, one count driving under the influence of alcohol, one count possession of an open alcoholic beverage container and one count no operators license.
-- Mickey Ray Halcomb, 64, on one count operating motor vehicle under the influence, one count possession of marijuana, one count first-degree possession of controlled substance, one count prescription controlled substance not in proper container and one count no tail lamps.
-- Ronald Lilly, 53, on one count cultivating marijuana, five plants or more.
