CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A single-day road project will disrupt traffic in Adams County on March 14.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio 348 near the Adams-Scioto County line will be closed on March 14 for a culvert replacement.
The site is located between Delong Road and Ohio 781. ODOT estimated that the closure would be in effect from around 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via Ohio 781, Ohio 41 and Ohio 125.
Another project in Adams County is still ongoing, according to ODOT.
Adams County 100 (Old Ohio 32) is still closed at three locations between Ohio 41 and Ohio 770 as part of a multi-phase slide repair project.
According to ODOT, the route is closed between Marble Furnace Road and Inlow Avenue, between Lawshe and Selby roads and between Shelby and Big Run roads.
While Adams 100 is closed, motorists will be detoured via Ohio 41, Ohio 32 and Ohio 770, as well as by local roads.
ODOT anticipated work to be completed on Adams 100 in late Spring.
In Brown County, Ohio 763 remains closed one mile north of Ohio 41 for a bridge replacement and realignment project.
The project site is located between Stringtown and Lawwill roads.
While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via Ohio 41, Ohio 136 and Ohio 125.
ODOT anticipated the closure to be in effect through early July and anticipated construction to be completed in mid-summer.
