Two men got away with an undisclosed amount of money Wednesday after robbing the Security Bank and Trust on U.S. 68.
The robbery happened at 11:32 a.m., according to Maysville Police Lt. Justin Horch.
The men walked into the bank and demanded money, but did not show a weapon to bank employees, Horch said.
The suspects are two black males, estimated to be 30-35 years old. One is described as 6 feet, 1 inch in height, weighing between 220-230 pounds, with a beard. He was wearing black sunglasses, a tan Carhart coat and toboggan. The second suspect is described as 5 feet, 10 inches in height, weighing between 165-180 pounds and wearing a ball cap with the word "Chicago" on it, and a Nike fleece pullover. Both were wearing latex gloves.
Officials said they left in a silver Cadillac, model year between 1993 and 1995; a witness said the car turned west toward Cincinnati on Kentucky 9, AA Highway.
Horch said a dark silver Cadillac was stopped on Kentucky 9 shortly after the robbery, but the driver was released after being questioned.
Officials have reviewed video tape from the bank cameras and the FBI has been notified.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Maysville Police Department at 606-564-9411.
Detective Jared Muse is in charge of the investigation.
