Ernie did not finish high on the scoring list, but I consider him one of the finest to ever don a Royal jersey. Ernie Rosser later served in Vietnam and lost his life on December 11, 1966. Ernie was 19 when he lost his life defending our country. As we go about our business on this Fourth of July, watching fireworks and having picnics, take time to reflect on what Ernie Rosser did for us. If it weren't for the United States military,Lucky or GoodJoey Logano is the youngest driver to win a Sprint Cup race as he just turned 19. Joey had some breaks to win this race and make history. Joey on Sunday, overcame a crash and a lost lap, and then saved just enough fuel to earn his first Cup victory in only his 20th start. The competitors ran six slow laps under caution before NASCAR put out a red flag in hopes of drying the track. But the rain began falling harder and the race was called after 273 laps. TNT bored their viewers with a long and boring pre race show. Just think, if this race started at 1 pm like it should have we would have a full race and a legitimate winner.
